The problem with internet marketing, web design, or even referral sales is that all of these companies, web pages, and assorted flashing banners are made by people who are specifically out to make more money. There is no common cause, there?s no personal help outside of ?I?ll help you make me more money.? The competition is still there, just as it is in the outside world. It?s a breeding ground for wealthy arrogant ?consumers? or ?hopeful? castaways from a crumbling social structure.

So, then, if most of these companies are fakes and completely out to get you, where do you turn? Simple, you can do one of two things. You can either milk the corporations for whatever they?ll give you without sacrificing your scruples, or you can work with others toward a common goal. Work as a family, not for the benefit of one, but for the benefit of all.

An example, as a vague outline, is here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With the help of several associates and a very tight group of friends, a plan has been developed to raise funds for land. I won?t go into details, but the land is to be used as a prototype culture for the years to come. To establish this, several different ventures have started in the outside world, but our ?tribe? will extend to the internet as well.

Realize, of course, that all of this is still in the works and all I?m trying to do is share an idea. It?s a sad fact that some of the best and most well-intentioned people in the world have been stepped on, abused, and absolutely raped of all belongings or hope of being in the ?elite? class. They cannot start a company because nobody will fund them, they could get together a couple of bucks towards an internet company?but who would have the credit card? So, instead, a tribal community is going to be established.

For people trying to benefit more than just themselves, this idea is perfect. The website (primary) opens an account with PayPal, all profits from advertisements go into the account and are then split between the owner of the site, and the site itself (the land fund in my example). After the community grows and more people become involved, the primary website owner could use the sites account to open yet another webpage for someone Else in the community. Essentially the other site would be a ?sister-site?.

Several people can join this way, or so the theory goes, and in a tribal society all profits from all the sites would go directly into the primary account. Again, the profits are split between the website holders and the Website account, once again raising the amount of investment capital available to the next ?member? of the community.

No bosses, nobody lording money over anyone else, and certainly no anonymous user simply out to get your credit card number. Everyone benefits, and nobody has to struggle on alone. A tribe works together, and this idea promotes that. Be tribal in your business.
